Can we move forward after a loss?

After experiencing my own losses, I learned that moving on from a loss is totally different from moving forward. Moving on suggests that we have forgotten the incident, the loss, the grief, the pain. It also suggests that our lives will be "normal" again and that everything will be as it was before. The reality is that none of these things really happens.
What I have learned in these years is that, to move forward, we must face the unbearable pain, we must accept that our lives will never be the same, and that “WE” will never be the same.
When you begin to live with that new ‘you’ day by day, moment by moment, and when you begin to accept that you have changed, knowing that your life will never be the same, you begin to walk that unknown path. In that moment you begin to move forward.
